Solakonferansen 2023, a brief introduction
Solakonferansen remains fully committed in its quest to promote flight safety by once again inviting the aviation industry to share ideas, discuss opportunities, meet new people, and contribute to enhance aviation standards during our annual conference.
Whether representing an OEM, regulatory body, operator, or the end user, a support function, we trust you will find the conference an excellent opportunity to grow your network and discuss current and future challenges.
This year we have asked the OEMs to focus on how they contribute to more environmentally friendly operations within their segment. The energy industry is scrutinised in general and also on the topic of greener transport solutions as such and many initiatives are in place to minimize environmental impact. The offshore helicopter segment needs to play its part and advance Technology, operations, and procedures. Also on the topic of new technology, whether it’s an add-on to existing technology or new developments for example within new propulsion concepts etc.
The conference for 2023 is slightly different than last year conference in that it will kick off with the conference program and the official opening and opening speech on Monday just before lunch.
We work hard to ensure that Solakonferansen remain a focal point for aviation safety within the industry, and we are very much looking forward to meeting you in September 2023 for three inspiring conference days. First release of a tentative programme will be late January, early February 2023. Responsible for developing and providing the programme is The Conference Committee 2023.
