A Brief Introduction and Invitation to Solakonferansen 2024

Dear fellow aviation professionals,

It is with great pleasure that we extend a formal invitation on behalf of Stiftelsen Solakonferansen (The Solakonferansen Foundation) to participate in and contribute to Solakonferansen 2024, to be held from September 16th to 18th at Clarion Hotel Air, located adjacent to Stavanger Airport, Sola, Norway.

Solakonferansen remains steadfast in its dedication to elevating the standards of flight safety, quality assurance, and environmental responsibility within the aviation industry. Considering this commitment, our conference agenda will encompass the following pivotal themes:

  • Attraction of new talent to ensure capacity for a safe and reliable aviation sector, with focus on pilot and technician shortage.

  • Promotion of safety in existing operations, with a particular focus of Offshore Aviation Safety, for Oil & Gas, Fish- and Windfarms.

  • Seamless Entry Intro Service (EIS) of Advanced Air Mobility systems, such as Vertical take-off and Landing (VTOL), Remotely Piloted- (RPAS) and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), in Norway’s airspace.

  • Enhanced sustainability through better environmental practices and the integration of cutting-edge technologies and new fuels.
